I've been seeing these paper wreaths all over the web and Pinterest!!! So I thought I would try my hand at one for a gift at the Christmas party I attended last week with my fellow NachoAverageStamper demonstrator friends!! I think it turned out quite well and I may have to make another one for me!!! I try to make one new crafty type wreath a year!!!

It all started on Feb 1st... The Nacho Average Stampers finally had our group Christmas party. The last couple of years we've had the party after Christmas because things popped up and we had to postpone!! You know how life gets during the holidays, right!! Here are a few of the gifts that we exchanged and the ladies who designed them!!!( CHECK BACK Monday for the conclusion to my story)

These 3 projects +1 other were gonna be part of my May "Retiring Products"Stamp Camp but I had to cancel because my cat broke my foot!!! I wanted to show the projects on my website anyway. I was at a local meeting of fellow demonstrators and one of the ladies brought this as a show and tell!!! I love it!!!! Thinking of making a bunch myself. If this was your artwork please let me know so I can give you credit.
The dress seems to be made with the Beautiful Wings Sizzlit Die and then some of our SU! punches are used on the rest!!! Love Love Love it!!!

Paperweight on the left was purchased at a local craft store in their $1 bins. I just took in apart and retraced the pieces onto SU! materials. I then used an SU! gluestick to reattach the paper to the glass part!!
The purse on the right is a brand new SU! Sizzix Die that will be available in the new catalo. I used a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" sheet of paper and cut out the full purse in Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I then used a 3x3 piece of Summer Smooches DSP to cut out the flap again. I cut a little off back of flap and attached to purse. I LOVE how cute it turned out!!!

DIRECTIONS FOR BASKET
1)Start with a 6x6 square and score it at 2" and 4" rotate 90 degrees and score at 2" and 4" again. 2) Now score diagonally from corner to corner. Fold on all six score lines!!!
3) Push corners out so they can be hole punched easier so ribbon will go through with less of a headache. Hole punch each corner with a 1/8" punch. 4) Lace ribbon through holes and tie.
Gonna try this with a 9x9 square scored at 3" and 6" inches to see if it'll hold 3x3 cards!! let me know if you try this first!! ;o)
DIRECTIONS FOR MINI CARDS AND ENVIES
1)To make the envies: Start with a 3x3 inch square and using a diagonal score plate score at 1 1/4" on all four sides. Fold on score lines to make mini envelope. 2)To make mini cards: start with a 1 5/8" x 3 1/4" inch piece of cardstock and score at 1 5/8" to make card base. The DSP(designer series paper) is a 1 3/8"x 1 3/8" square. I then stamped image in color of choice and then cut out to layer on top of card. HAVE ANT QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO COMMENT OR EMAIL ME.

I love this new dsigner series paper and stamp set. It's a catalog Sneak Peek and you only have until Mon April 30th to get it!! If you miss it though don't worry it'll be available in the new catalog come June 1st!!! This is gonna be my hostess gift for my workshop this Tuesday at my friend Becky's house!! Check back on Wed/Fri for instructions to make some of these projects!!!!
