STAMPIN in the SON !!!!!

Workshop Cards!!!

Awhile back I held a workshop for my friend Tish.  These were 2 of the 3 cards I did for her!!                                        

I stamped the Build A Blossom(found on page 122) set in Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose ink onto Newsprint DSP and then used the Blossom Petals Builder punch(on page 213) to punch the images out.  I then raised the punched out pieces with dimensionals to give the flower some lift.  The border on the white cardstock is dry embossed using the Tulip Frame embossing folder.

Anne Hayward designed this next card but I just love it's simplicity. 
The card base was Daffodil Delight with a layer of Old Olive next.  I then once again ran the white cs through the Tulip Frame embossing folder.  I cut strips of Olive CS about 1/4" wide for stems. I then punched out flowers with the Boho Blossoms punch. After that I put the designer brad through the flower and attached to card.  The leaves are made of I/8" ribbon.  I then stamped my word of choice in Olive. For those of you who still have lots of the brads left from the Occasssions Mini this is what I did with them.

Flowers Galore!!!!!

   

For these cards I used Regal Rose and Basic Grey CS.  The lighting wasn't the best. Sorry!!!  I used the Sizzix Flower Folds Die for the large flower, and the scallop Square for the border around the 4x8 white folded card.  Stamp set used was Thank You Kindly on page 168 of the NEW IBC.  I also used the Boho Blossoms Punch and the Fancy Flower Punch.  Silver brads are in the center of the flowers. I don't remeber the set(s) used to watermark the bottom of the card.  If you know please let me know!!!

DSP Designs

Leilani McGranahan designed this card and used the New Takes the Cake designer paper.  I like the idea of using 1/2 the top note die as a layer for this card.  We used the new Petite Pennant punch as well for the yellow triangle.  The set we used was  Friends Never Fade found on page 107 of the NEW IBC.  The scallop circle is punched out, stamped on in real red and then run through the Sizzix using the Polka Dot embossing folder.

Tammy Fite designed this card. We used Pumpkin and Olive CS and the Paisley Petals DSP.  We punched out a 3" circle with the Sizzix and then embossed it with the Flower Garden folder.
