More OSW's with Baby Wipe Technique.

I used the Medallion Stamp for ALL of these. Colors used below were Old Olive - Real Red - Night of Navy.

These were done with the 2009-2010 In-Colors: Razzleberry - Mambo - Curry.

BABY WIPE TECHNIQUE  1)Take 3 coordinating colors of re-inkers and drop some of each reinker onto a baby wipe in random fashion. 2) Let re-inkers blend on baby wipe.  3) This is now your ink pad.  For more detailed information on this technique click here.

Daisy Magnets

I saw this idea online somewhere.  I really should learn to write down where I find ideas.  Usually by the time I get around to doing them I've misplaced where I got the idea from. I've been playing with my Big Shot a lot lately.  I was looking at the recycle pile at work and thought I could do something really fun with the cans.  So I decided to make Daisy magnets out of them.   I think they turned out great.  What do you think!!!

 

The magnet on the left is made out of FANTA soda cans.  The one in the middle is Dr. Pepper cans and the one on the right is Arizona Ice Tea cans.

OSW Cards

What are OSW cards you ask.  These are cards made with one sheet of stamped card-stock  and some other card-stock to help accessorize the cards.   

The stamped sheet looks like this before you cut it up into pieces.  This one was made with the Garden Greenhouse set. (Which is 20% off until April 30th) I stamped the flowers in Lovely Lilac - Rose Red- and Crushed Curry onto 12 x 12 whisper white cardstock. I haven't made the cards yet that use this design, but I did do the set below using the OSW method.

This set of cards was made using Bermuda Bay - Dusty Durango and Rich Razzleberry for the color combos.  I stamped with the Circle Circus stamp set.

These are close-ups of the 17 cards I managed to get out of the one sheet of 12 x 12 stamped cardstock.

Sizzix Die Cut Box

I was blog hopping and saw this cute little box I just had to CASE (copy and steal everything) from a fellow demonstrator.  IF it was you please let me know so I can give you proper credit.  All I needed to make this was some cardstock designer paper and of course my Sizzix dies.  It came together in about 10 minutes.  I think I'm going to use it for a hostess gift at my upcoming workshop at the end of the month.  Going to fill it with ribbon and punched cs pieces.

  
Ingredients for Project    CS: Basic Black/Whisper White - DSP: Night and Day - Sizzix Dies: Daisies #2(#114520)/Top Note(#113463)/Matchbox(#114890) - Other: Filigree Brads9(#112577) and Sticky Strip.

Flower Folds Sizzix Die.

I really love how versatile this Sizzix die is.  It comes with four different flowers.  I used it to make a candle holder and the pins you see below. This picture kind of  gives you the approximate sizes of the flowers from the die.

INSTRUCTIONS:This was made using roof flashing.  You can buy a 6" x 50 ft roll of the stuff at any home improvement store.  I used my flower folds die and cut out the 3 largest flowers.  I then ran those through my embossing folder for some texture.  Next I took a Real Red re-inker and some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rubbed over metal to color it a little.  Sealed with a clear acrylic spay so the color wouldn't come off.

These were ALSO made using the flower folds die. This time we only used the 2 smallest flowers to make these pins  The top one I made at a class at my friend Anne's. It uses all cotton fabric.  The bottom 2 use upholstery fabric and  have a little more dimension and body to them. IF you're gonna make these use the upholstery fabric if you have the choice. It works so much better. OH yeah be careful with glue guns.  I have a big nasty blister to prove I wasn't careful.

Stamp Camp Part 4

Stamp Camp Part 3

Our customers got to make this Jr Legal Pad note pad. We also included a matching pen and the coaster with calendar you see below.  I'm lovin the new in-colors this year and how well they go with the existing ones.
