I saw this done at convention and decided to recreate it for an upcoming craft fair next Saturday (Nov 8th) We start with a plain old Hersey Bar...
And we wind up with something that looks like this, for a stocking stuffer!!!! Directions:Step 1: Cut Cardstock to 5 1/2" by 8" Step 2: On the 5 1/2"side you are going to score the cardstock 4 times (at 1 and 5/16" - 1 and 9/16" - 3 and 7/8" - 4 and 1/8"). This will create the creases for the candy bar to slide in and out of. Step 3: In pic #2 (below) you are going to go up 7" on the 8" side and cut in to the 1 and 9/16" score mark on one side, and on the opposite side you will cut in until the 3" and 7/8" score mark ! Cut down on the 1 and 9/16" score mark and on the 3 and 7/8" until you reach the prior cuts at 7". CLEAR as MUD! See STEP #1 Your CS should look like this!!! Step 4: Cut down, on an angle from center of square piece to 7" mark (Step #2). Do same in other direction! Now you have your SANTA SUIT! Wrap around your normal size candy bar! Step 5: Santa's white cardstock belt is 1" x 5 1/2" Scored in the same places you scored the Santa Suit in Step 2. Step 6: His face is a white rectangle 2 x 2 1/2" rounded on one end!!! Santa's buckle is a 3/4" square punch with a 1/4" square punched out of the center. HINT: Punch 1/4" square first and then the 3/4" square around the 1/4' one!!! Step 7: Santa's face is an oval punched out of Blush Blossom CS and the cheeks are real red ink q-tipped on! Santa's eyes are brads! The beard was drawn freehand and I applied dazzling diamonds glitter to it using a 2 way glue pen!!! Until Tomorrow...STAMPIN in the SON!!!!! jenni
