Christmas Card Stamp Camp

As promised, here they are...Back in September we held a Stamp camp in which participants got to complete 30 Christmas cards for $45!!!! 5each of 6 different designs WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. Wish you could have joined us!!!   

   

                    

I have a few extra packets of cut cardstock if you'd like to make these cards!! Email me at stampinintheson@gmail.com to arrange your $45 payment. (stamps and ink not included) You get CS and Ribbon enough to make 30 cards similiar to these!!!!!  

The 6th card is a few posts back with a large snowflake on Night of Navy cardstock!!!!

Stamp Camp Projects

 

On Saturday Oct 18th we are having a small stamp camp at my friend Monica's house!!  We charged $15 and customers get to make these 4 projects!!! 

Project #1 is a gift bag and our customers will receive (as a thank you for coming)a clear glass ornament with a rub-on on it! This they can put in the bag  and give as a gift or keep for themselves!!!!

We give customers water bottles and we made these cute little toppers with their names on them so they could keep track of their bottles while moving from project to project!!!!

Everyone gets a doorprize at our camp, and these are little 3x3 cards and some card candy to go on the cards!!!  We put the cards in a medium cello bag and topped with SU!'s exclusive "top notz"  sizzix die for the big shot.

3x3 Gift Cards

Back in August I posted some card candy in a Red/Black color scheme!  I'm really into these little gift cards at the moment! They are so simple and quick!! I just used color combos from the SU! color wheel and went from there! Wasn't thrilled with all the color combos the wheel suggested so these are tweaked a little!!! These are 2x2 squares you can keep lying around and just add to a 3x6 card folded in half when you need them!!!  Color Combinations used below are....Hunter/Cameo Coral -Tangerine/Kiwi Kiss - Riding Hood Red/Kiwi Kiss - Tangerine/ Pacific Point (in that order)

My Portable Advertising!!!

I'm so excited!!! My decor elements and my www.stampinintheson.com vinyl arrived today. I'm gonna go put it on my car, because this week is the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and since I'm going to be crewing all week what's better than advertising while I'm parked!!!    

The "create" word above is from Stampin Up's new home decor line called Decor Elements!! The www.stampinintheson.com was done professionally!  The letters are 4" inches tall!  Since SU! now sells the vinyl in sheets of 12x24 if I ever need to redo this I'll use a font on my computer, trace it onto the vinyl sheet and then cut it out!!!  Wish we had sold the undesigned sheets before I had mine done professionally!!!!

My Autumn Card CASE of SU!!!!!

If you haven't seen the new SU! Spanish Catalog check it out!!! Page 37 has some awesome designer series paper that I used when I copied this card!!! I used this card for a shoebox swap at my uplines' house!!! I didn't have enough chipboard for everyone who made the card so we traced the leaves on the paper and then cut out!!!! I used dimensionals and glue dots to give the leaves some dimension!!!

Thanksgiving Card

  I've been an SU! demonstrator  for 7 years and the other night I got to make this card designed by my friend Rachelle Berger. What's so remarkable about this card to me, is that in 7 years, this is the first time I have ever MASKED while stamping!. The tall pumpkin has a smaller pumpkin in front of it. We stamped the smaller pumpkin 1st and then covered it with typing paper cut out in the same shape as the smaller pumpkin. Stamped the larger pumpkin on top and then we did the gourd the same way!!!  Blender pens and inkpads were used to color in the pumpkins!!!!

Halloween Card

     

Last Tuesday night a group of 7 of my fellow demonstrators got together to do a shoebox swap!!! For those of you who don't know what that is, you put together enough supplies for everyone to make your card and then you sit around a table and complete each others cards!  This card was created by Judy!  Can you believe she's only been a demo less then 2 months!! She designed the bat free-hand and we cut it out!! I love this card!!! I thinkit was my favorite card that we did that night!!!

Holiday Planner Notebooks

I made these notebooks as a doorprize for the stamp camp we had last Saturday! They are holiday planners that I made with composition notebooks. I also made tabs using our round tab punch!!!       

I didn't attach the tabs because I didn't know how much room the recipients would need to plan! They loved the planners and I think I'm going to make a bunch for a craft fair I'm doing in November!!!  Got any questions feel free to email me!!

Big Shot Baskets

At Stamp Camp today we each gave the customers who attended a thank you gift for coming!  Normally we put candy out on the tables! This time we made them little goodie bags with candy in them, to help them get through the 30 cards they'll be making!  These were the baskets I made my customers!!!

I used: Holiday Treasures DSP and the SU! Exclusive Basket Die that we now sell!!! I added some pink taffeta ribbon to tie the tags, filled with candy and gum, and we have cute little baskets to get them through the morning!!!

Waterbottle Topper

 

We decided to attach toppers to our waterbottles at our upcoming stamp camp this Saturday!  If you've been paying attention to my blog these are Card Candy that I mentioned a few posts back!  They were 2x2 squares that I added to a black piece of cs.

To make these: Cut a piece of cardstock 2 1/4" x 8" and then score it at 2" on either end. Fold in a Z shape and attach the bottom leg with 2 brads! This forms a pocket and you can slip the drink mixer right in.

I used: Basic Black and Real Red CS and Ink. The stamp set was Boho Backgrounds. I also used various punches!!! I'm LOVIN all our punches and how quick they are in helping complete cards of any size!!  As always email me with any questions or comments! I'd love to hear from you!!!
