Got to spend the afternoon on Sat with about 160 fellow Stampin Up demonstrators, learning some new things to teach you all and I can't wait. Here's a pic of about 50 demonstrators in the gotStamps? group!!! We're all wearing different but matching shirts because we have several smaller awesome groups within our big group.

The Albq. Balloon Fiesta is here for the week and I'm going to help set up and chase after and take down a hot air balloon this week so I will probably be pretty tired. Just wanted to show you some fun shots of the balloons from this morning. This is 1 of the top 100 things to see in the USA and THE most photographed event in the world!!!

Last weekend while on the retreat I got a chance to commune with God and nature. Took some wonderful flower shots that I thought I'd share with you now!!!

Had an awesome time on a ladies retreat this past weekend with some women from church.The neat thing about this retreat was that we had women from ages 14-70 attending. The retreat theme was...
with a sub theme jokingly of (it is what it is) We started off the weekend with dinner and a speaker as well as some fun things. We got to break the ice with some staged spittakes. Kerry told some one liner jokes and then with mouths full of water gave these ladies the punch lines.
We were lead in worship with singing and Reta played the piano for us.
Throughout the weekend we heard from some amazing women talking about our relationships with God, others and the world. Lora, Emily and Maureen shared some spiritual insights into our walk with God and then reaching out to others to develop REAL relationships.
Some brave women got up and shared their testimonies and struggles with God and His place in their lives. I'm not sure I really could have done this.
And as usual there were fun activities planned too! On Friday night some ladies got to ride a zipline in the dark and the RAIN.(unfortunately the area was not well lit and my camera refused to take any pictures in the dark with nothing to focus on ;o( ) Saturday morning we got to decorate glass candles with Decoupage or make friendship bracelets.
Saturday afternoon we had some free time in which we could hike or just hang out and play games and talk.
Dinner on Saturday was a yummy New Mexican meal with a really awesome dessert. And after we were done we learned the " Electric Slide" and "Cupid's Dance".

Today I got to spend the afternoon with 90+ women from church at a Friendship Tea. We got to see a skit, hear a couple of songs and listen to an amazing speaker "Sally Berger" talk on Friendship and Jesus as our ultimate FRIEND.
Here are a few pictures from this afternoon. We were greeted at a table in front to write our name on a name tag. Aren't the decorations that were all over the multi purpose room fun!!!
When we sat at our place at the table we were greeted with this little party favor. I'm sure some of my stampin ladies had a hand in making these. Aren't they just adorable.
The pic on the top is the skit pic and it was hysterical. We've all seen the skits where someone else's arms are performing for the person in front. This was no exception, and we were treated to "Instructions for a Proper English Tea" The pic on the bottom is the ladies singing "Circle of Friends"(not sure who it's by).

Since I didn't win the Klove Balloon Fiesta deign contest I think I'll show you my contest entry. I designed these with My Digital Studio and thought they were great. Evidently they were only great in my own mind!! Oh well. We live here so we'll get to go anyways.
This was the image my mom came up with using MDS. Of course someone made a cupcake out of fabric for an entry on the same day this one was submitted.
