What better time of year is there to express your love and appreciation to your family and friends than Valentine’s Day?  In this class you’ll create four love & friendship cards, four 3” x 3” friendship notes and 9 tags that can be used when packaging up Valentine’s treats for your kids, teachers, friends &/or co-workers. The whole collection is packaged in this one-of-a-kind Stationery Purse!!!

• Adhesive: Sticky Strip, Snail adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 2-way glue pen
• Ribbon & Brads: Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Elastic Cord, Silver brads
• Punches: Scallop Circle punch, Scallop Edge punch, 1/8” handheld circle punch, 1/16" handheld punch, tag corner punch, Designer Label punch, Heart to Heart punch.

Snowman Soup...

BEFORE

I made these for my craft fair back in early November!! It was one of the only things I sold It is a cardstock french fry box(like you get at McDonald's) and inside is a pack of hot chocolate, a choc covered marshmellow, and a peppermint candy cane!!!  I had originally made 30 but had a few left over and gave them to friends at a Christmas party on Dec 14th.

Christmas Presents Galore

              MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

I'm gonna have to Scrapbook this!!!   Any ideas on how?
Most of you know hubbie's been unemployed since Aug 2007.  Needless to say he didn't even feel like shopping this year so I bought my own gifts.  About a week or two a go a friend gave me a box of books cause she knows I like to read.  Anyways my hubbie knows I like to open packages on Christmas. You could, seriously wrap an empty box, put a bow on it and stick it under my tree and I would be totally happy.  I always know just where I'd put nothing! ;0)

I got home from work at 2am this morning to this!  He wrapped gifts from the time I left at 6pm until I came home at 2am. I was 15 minutes early. When I walked in the front door I almost died laughing.  He was down to the last 3 gifts to wrap. He would have had them all wrapped but i was early.  He had wrapped all 85 paperback books my friend gave me.  I love the nut.       

       This is what I walked into tonight when I came home!

Holiday Planner and Advent Calendar

Today our group got together at the Olive Garden for our annual Christmas Party.  These are the 2 gifts I wound up with.  Our group is getting so good!  I would have taken any of the gifts home with me this year. 

 My friend Sharon did her version of a Christmas Countdown Calendar.                It uses the Loads of Love Stamp Set. She put the calendar into a 12x12 Scrapbook frame. The candy is attached with gluedots to the glass. Everything else is under the glass to protect it.

My friend Karen  was the one who made the next gift I received. She Decorated this box and then stuck the gift inside. She made a 2009 Christmas Planner similiar to the one on www.andreawalford.com It was part of Andrea's giveaway for her 25 day Holiday Blitz.  Check out her store under the tutorials heading.

White Elephant Gift Exchange...

NO PEEKING if you're gonna be there! Tonight my customers are getting together for a Christmas Party. Normally I'd be there with them but I have to be elsewhere. I dropped off my gift and hopefully my friend Tina will pick out something cool for me. We draw numbers for the number of gifts brought. Then #1 opens a gift.  #2 can steal the gift or open another gift. We do this until all the gifts are done.  It's quite fun.  This is the gift I'm giving and what's inside each tin !  I also added some other little trinkets and things to it! CLOSED: These tins are numbered 24-1.   I just forgot to photograph it before I wrapped it.  See others below for what this one should look like!!    

  

OPEN: I'm also going to gift these two to some local demos at our annual Christmas Party on Sunday and Tuesday.

Birthday Cards from My Favorite Customers...

Last Tuesday night I had a workshop and after it was done my customers gave me birthday cards. Here are some of the handmade cards I received. I received others as well but these were the handmade ones!!! My customers are so so talented!!!!
